In 2017, Accuro was a relatively small, little-known player, in the health insurance market – despite being originally set up to deliver health insurance, to the health industry.
Accuro’s competitors fell into two general categories: large, widely known players seen as comprehensive, secure and competent, but also typically perceived as valuing profits over customer well-being; and secondly, similar, smaller, lesser known players – with limited awareness and differentiation beyond their immediate customer base.
Our opportunity was to redefine Accuro – and become known for a distinctive difference that current & potential customers could value, and care about – while creating a pathway for the brand to develop more personalised, proactive and ‘value-adding’ relationships with customers – as an active health management partner, not a passive bill-payer.
