Meet Jemma
Founder and lead consultant of Hyphenate, Jemma was previously the marketing team leader for the Wellington Chamber of Commerce – leading and delivering projects spanning brand strategy, e-marketing, membership attraction and retention, and social media management, as well as planning and managing the organisation’s annual marketing spend.
She combines this broad capability with ten years experience as a designer and finished artist – delivering branding, advertising, direct marketing, and digital & printed collateral – as well as proven creative depth as the top student of NZ’s 2015 AWARD School.
Jemma also held the role of Creative Partner at Special Ad Service from 2016-2020, working with businesses across the Wellington Region and New Zealand.
Jemma holds a Bachelor of Design (First Class Hons) from Massey University, and was accepted into the International Society of Typographic Design in 2013.
How we work
Hyphenate can work on a project-by-project basis, quoting a fixed-fee cost upfront.
We also offer ‘Creative Retainer’ packages for clients who need frequent, but flexible support across multiple projects or miscellaneous day-to-day work... allowing them to commission work simply and efficiently. A service retainer based on days worked, reported and billed on a monthly basis – delivers flexibility, while also guaranteeing cost-certainty; with and any ‘unused’ hours rolling into the following month.
